I recently wrote about how dominant Team USA was at the Olympics, but apparently I was delusional. Thanks to Ricky Rubio for enlightening me: "We demonstrated that we're better. If the officiating had been with FIBA rules, we would have won." Ricky Rubio wasn't the only whiner from the Spanish side- Felipe Reyes: "It was scandalous. It's infuriating that they officiate that way." Rudy Fernandez: "If they change the rules, they should tell us." Jorge Garbajosa: "I'm biting my tongue."
Congratulations to Spain, the real gold medalists.*
